A beloved Island fixture, Dr. Gerry Yukevich draws on 27 years of emergency and hospice care on Martha’s Vineyard to share stories of winter medicine — and the lessons they hold for all of us. An actor, author (under the pen name Ivan Cox) and brilliant storyteller, Gerry can discuss the history of healthcare on the Island and relate his stories about the various winter health problems he has treated in emergency rooms. From that, he can draw conclusions about what should and should not be avoided during the cold season.
